What happens for those who graduate without a promise of employment?OAA clearly cannot control the number of airline recruitment opportunities likely to be available on graduation. This depends upon a wide range of factors, none of which lie under our control. However, in the Careers and Employment Services team, OAA does uniquely provide a dedicated and focussed service specifically aimed at maintaining close relationships with airlines, selected TRTOs and others agencies to identify potential employment opportunities and to support graduates in every possible way until they can gain that first, vital employment. What are we doing to add to our existing services?OAA’s track record in assisting graduates into employment is well known. Nevertheless, over the next few years we will be continuing to develop our capabilities. With new sponsorship schemes and the ever closer integration of our employment assistance programme to match the recruiting needs of a steadily increasing range of airlines, we are determined that OAA’s commitment to providing an employment service to our customers, both students and airlines, will be sustained. |
