With over half a million training hours between them, our teams of instructors at both training centres provide a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from employment with airlines, the military and general aviation training operations.

We employ over 100 well qualified, experienced flight instructors (single and multi pilot) between our 2 airline training centres, each holding a professional pilot’s license with Instrument and Instructor rating.

Supporting this team is an Instructor Training department at both airline training centres to ensure that our students receive consistent quality tuition supported by extensive tests and reports.  Instructors of complex instrument flying each have an average of more than 8,000 hours of instructional experience - which certainly supports our reputation to have probably the world’s leading instructional team.

Particularly, we also employ instructors in our Multi Pilot and jet training activities who still fly and train in an airline environment today.

Our ground training instructors are similarly highly experienced, again coming from both civil and military backgrounds either as engineers, pilots or navigators. It is their job to impart significant quantities of theoretical knowledge in an exciting and stimulating manner – a job they do exceptionally well judging by the consistently high examination results being achieved by our pilot and aircraft engineer students.
